TOTEM IL CANALE

Totem Il Canale starts in 1985 after Totem Gallery's acquisition of the Gallery Il Canale ,
one of the historical contemporary art galleries in Venice.

We deal in different subjects:

Tribal African Art
Antique Venetian beads
Contemporary Art
Contemporary Jewelery

Directors: Hentus Du Toit and Claudio Gatta.

Our Gallery is in three different rooms at the ground floor of a historical Venetian palace
just at the foot of the Accademia bridge, close to  the Accademia Museum on the way to the 
P. Guggenheim Collection.

Very close to us is the boat stop "Accademia" of lines 1 and  82 (ACTV public transport).

We are open from Monday to Saturday  10 a.m. - 01 p.m. and  03 - 07 p.m.

Some times of the year we are also open on Sundays. Please check.
