Nel 2007 MASSIMO POLDELMENGO è stato incaricato della
realizzazione di opere d'arte per il nuovo complesso parrocchiale del Sacro
Cuore di Gesù di Bargalla di Reggio Emilia, la cui progettazione è stata
eseguita, in seguito a concorso nazionale indetto dalla CEI, dal Prof. Arch.
Davide Raffin.
In questa mostra alla galleria Totem-Il Canale, Poldelmengo espone alcuni
progetti relativi alle opere d'arte commissionate, in particolar modo al
progetto del Fonte Battesimale, opera che prende spunto da un precedente lavoro
installativo di Poldelmengo intitolato "Lustrale" eseguito nella chiesa di San
Lorenzo a San Vito al Tagliamento. In mostra, oltre ai progetti, ci saranno
anche alcune opere riguardanti la figura stilizzata del pesce, elemento che si
ritrova all'esterno e all'interno del Fonte Battesimale progettato da
Poldelmengo.

In 2007 MASSIMO POLDELMENGO was given the charge to
produce artworks for the new church of Sacro Cuore di Gesù in Bargalla, Reggio
Emilia, the project of which was done by Prof. Arch. Davide Raffin, winner of
the national competition announced by the CEI.
In this new exhibition at galleria Totem-Il Canale, Poldelmengo exhibits some of
the projects related to the above artworks, especially the one of the
Christening Font, work derivating from a previous one titled "Lustrale" done for
the church of San Lorenzo in San Vito al Tagliamento.
In the exhibition, further to the projects, there will be works about the
stylized image of the fish, symbol that can be seen in the inside and outside of
the Chistening Font created by Poldelmengo.

"The Magic War in a Wonderful World" é un’animazione digitale
ottenuta componendo più di 900 diversi scatti fotografici.
Protagonisti del lavoro sono soldatini giocattolo che, a ritmo di un montaggio
serrato, si confrontano, più che scontrarsi, con altri oggetti della loro
taglia: piccole suppellettili, soprammobili in foggia d’animali, un Buddha in
miniatura e altri giocattoli...
...Le immagini del video, pur nell’ironica assurdità degli scenari, sono
cariche della concitazione e della drammatica emotività di un film di guerra...

2005" con musica di Marcello Mauro.
"The Magic War in a Wonderful World" is a digital animation composed
by more than 900 photographic shots.
The actors of the video are toy soldiers. At a very fast pace, more than fight,
they confront themselves with other objects of the same size: small furniture,
animals, a miniature Buddha and other toys...
...The images of the video, even in the ironic absurdity of the scenery, are
charged with the excitement and the drammatic emotivity of a war film... (Guido
